Vanetta Chapman recently found out that she sold a sequel to A Simple Amish Christmas. Tentatively titled, “Annie’s Christmas Quilt,” it will be part of Abingdon’s Quilts of Love Series.




Kathy Harris just signed a debut contract with Abingdon Press for a Fall 2012 release. The book, which is women’s fiction, is tentatively entitled The Road to Mercy.


Naomi Musch is happy to jump on the announcement bandwagon. She has a new release as of 10/15. The Red Fury is Book 2 of her Empire in Pine series from Desert Breeze Publishing. It’s historical romance available as an eBook just about anywhere. Here are some purchase links,

Yvonne Lehmon’s  latest novel, Hearts that Survive – A Novel of the Titanic (Abingdon) is scheduled for release March 1, 2012. One ship – Two families – Three generations. Will be out in time for the 100th anniversary of the ship’s sinking April 15, 1912.




Shawna K. Williams has news to share. Her fourth book, THE GOOD FIGHT, releases on Nov. 1st with Desert Breeze Publishing.  Desert Breeze is moving into print, and her debut novel, NO OTHER, is one of the first ten books in the first wave of this expansion. It will release in print in 2012. Date is sketchy, but it will be before April because that’s when RT conference is and DBP is part of a panel discussion about Christian Fiction. She’s also signing a new contract for a sequel to Orphaned Hearts about little Caleb as a grown man. The working title is A HAND to HOLD.

Linda Rohrbough says that last month her new Christian suspense novel The Prophetess One: At Risk was a finalist in the Global eBook Awards.


The good news is it won the Global eBook Award. And not only that but 10 days later it was named a winner in the 2011 Millennium Star Publishing Awards. So two in August. That was very nice.


The Prophetess One: At Risk is also being made available for the Barnes & Noble Nook ebook platform in November. It is already available in paperback and as a Kindle ebook. Just as an aside, it is published by a very small family publishing house that’s close to Arkansas and features a number of Arkansas authors – High Hill Press in St. Charles, Missouri.




Deb Kinnard announces the re-release of POWERLINE, in September from Desert Breeze.



Martha Rogers has a release this month. Autumn Song released October 4. She will have a booksigning for it this weekend at Lifeway. Friday 5 to 7 at the Deerbrook Mall Lifeway and on Saturday at the Fondren Plaza store 11AM to 1PM. She’s also signing at the Baylor Bookstore on the Baylor Campus November 5 after the Homecoming Parade. She’ll also be speaking at the Woodlands/Houston area ACFW chapter on November 12.




Eddie Snipes has a book that came out this month. It’s called Simple Faith: How everyone can experience intimacy with God.

Debby Lee has received her first contract with Barbour for a novella titled One Evergreen Night.


The other lovely ladies in this historical anthology titled “A Cascades Christmas” are Mildred Colvin with Home For the Holidays, Gina Welborn with All Ye Faithful, and Mary Davis  with A Carpenter Christmas.


This anthology follows four woodsmen as they venture to a new town in the Washington Territory and fall in love with local girls who are a little unsure of themselves. But time and tenderness win over hesitant hearts.
